Hey Jesse! I really enjoy your photo blog and i think it would be a good idea for you to photograph members of your family. I once saw a photo series where this man did a bunch of progressive shots of his brother from multiple angles and life stages. It was one of the most fascinating things iv'e ever seen, and brutally honest. His lighting was very similar to the lighting I see in a lot of your shots. I don't know if you even have any siblings, but I would love to see similar work from you. keep up the progress!
My name is Jesse Yankel and my dream job is to become a photographer. As easy as it sounds, it has many challenges and obstacles. Yet I will continue to do what it takes until I achieve my goal.
True, anyone can take a picture, but are they worthy of a second look? Do they tell a story? Do they show you an emotion or give you the feeling that you should have been there at that exact moment? This is what I want my photos to do to the viewer.
I’m am currently 19 years young and not slowing down anytime soon. I go to Tri-C in Westlake Ohio working on a degree in the arts.
My photography consists of everything from sunsets to insects. But my main interest is in the ever-growing sport of BMX. I’m hoping to become a professional photographer for a big named BMX magazine. I ride with my friends and it has given me the chance to meet most unique and amazing people. Becoming a photographer will hopefully take me around the world and will never grow old. Photography is my connection with the world and what it has to offer. All caught in the lens of my camera to share with everyone who wasn’t there at that exact, perfect moment.
